H C Schulberg 1, M R Block, M J Madonia, C P Scott, E Rodriguez, S D Imber, J Perel, J Lave, P R Houck, J L Coulehan 医師として知らなければ恥ずかしい50の臨床研究 2015/11/30 谷口俊文 (翻訳) の中で紹介されていた論文。薬物療法で用いられた薬剤はノルトリプチリンでいまとなっては第一選択の薬ではないそう。論文の結論は、精神療法と薬物療法の間に差がない。同程度に効果的。この書籍では、SSRIを用いた研究でも同様の結果が示されたとして、Chilvers et al.., BMJ. 2001:322:1-5 と DeRubeis et al., Arch Gen Psychiatry 2005; 62:409-416を紹介しています。
